Revitalizing Cherashore Playground: A Community Effort

Cherashore Playground holds a special place in the hearts of our community members. It’s not just a playground; it’s a gathering spot, a place where children laugh and play, families connect, and neighbors come together. Recognizing its importance, we knew it was essential to invest in making the playground reflect the vibrancy and pride of the community it serves.

We are incredibly grateful to the IUPAT District Council 21 and the women of WINC (Women in Nontraditional Careers) for their generous contribution of time, skills, and energy. Together, they helped repaint the retaining wall at Cherashore Playground on W. Olney Avenue, transforming it into a bright, welcoming space that everyone can enjoy.

This collaborative effort highlights the power of community partnerships and the dedication of individuals committed to making our neighborhoods better. Thanks to their hard work, Cherashore Playground looks better than ever, a true testament to what can be achieved when people come together for a common goal.
